If you can gain a sound understanding of English grammar, it will really help your job prospects and increase the professionalism of your written communications (e.g. CV and work applications) throughout your career. A good level of grammar is expected in the vast majority of higher-grade jobs too. The ability to communicate in a concise manner will help you in all aspects of your life.

A basic understanding of English grammar is required as a prerequisite to living a fully functional life in a countries with languages that were based around the English language.
